The Volt Vespids team was founded in the fall of 2023.

2025 Competitions
The Volt Vespids are back again in 2024-25 eager and ready to learn more. One of the biggest things this team has learned is that it takes a LOT more than troubleshooting techniques for the team to be successful. This team has been comprised of builders, designers, project managers, programmers, merchandisers, and much more. The skills these students gain from this experience will be a huge asset for their career paths.

2024 Competitions
The Volt Vespids had little knowledge of what competing in a robotics competition was but through a ton of hard work and dedication, they all found out very quickly what was involved. They joined a scrimmage at Kettering University in Flint. They found out that the initial robot kit that was purchased needed to be able to accomplish a bit more than it could straight out of the box. They went back to work on manipulating their build to make sure the robot could do more and be ready for their first competition.
